Boxing Day (Dec. 26) is a big deal in Canada and native son Mac DeMarco is celebrating with one more addition to this year's holiday cover catalog.

The indie singer-songwriter has shared his cover of the Irving Berlin/Bing Crosby classic "White Christmas," but DeMarco's version is patently postmodern and called "White Christma$." Check it out below.

DeMarco has also been in the news lately for his spoof review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which might provide a little context for the image of Jar Jar Binks that accompanies the Christmas cover). He'll also soon be coming to a venue near you on tour in support of his recent mini-album Another One.
