MusicFestNW returns to Portland, Ore., this fall for its 13th annual run with a number of top-name acts in tow. This year’s multi-venue festival brings performances by more than 150 bands and artists — Neko Case, Young the Giant, Animal Collective and the Head and the Heart, to name a few — during the week of Sept. 3-8.

Several shows will take place in Portland’s scenic Pioneer Courthouse Square, including Young the Giant (Sept. 5), Animal Collective (Sept. 6), the Head and the Heart (Sept. 7) and Neko Case (Sept. 8). Among other featured acts are Chvrches, Ra Ra Riot, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Icona Pop, Dan Deacon, Antwon, Austra, the Thermals, John Vanderslice, Pacific Air, Saves the Day, Bob Mould, Joey Bada$$, Typhoon, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Ty Segall, Deerhunter, Titus Andronicus, Superchunk, Baroness, Chromatics, On and On, Wooden Indian Burial Ground, Youth Lagoon, Pickwick, Surfer Blood, Diplo, FIDLAR, Poolside, Vice Device, Tobacco, Washed Out, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Horse Feathers, the Joy Formidable, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and White Lung.

Festival-goers will also enjoy TechFestNW, an interactive conference that features a variety of inventors, engineers and other creative masterminds. According to the fest's official site, the goal of TechFestNW is “to capture the creative spirit and drive that fuels Portland’s flourishing start-up scene.”
