Hot on the heels of the upcoming Libertines reunion, singer Pete Doherty has announced three solo performances in Nottingham, Oxford and Bristol ahead of the scheduled full-band shows.

The band's London hometown main gig is scheduled for July 5, but the group will perform two warm-up shows in Glasgow on June 28 and 29. They'll also play two European festivals and a few other semi-local dates to mark their reunion.

In a recent interview with NME, Doherty told fans to expect some new material at the Libertines shows, or maybe even some unfinished old songs -- things that may have fit on their classic 'Up the Bracket' album.
