We were watching 'Pee-wee's Big Adventure' the other night, and the same thought keep popping into our heads over and over again: Pee-wee Herman looks exactly like the Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock.

Just take a look at them in the above photo. Their goofy faces are practically saying, "I know you are but what am I?" And it's not just this pic; find any from the past 25 years, put them side by side, and all that's separating Ad-Rock and Pee-wee Herman is a bow tie.

There are other things too, like the fact that both became famous around the same time. The Beastie Boys' debut album 'Licensed to Ill' was released in 1986 and was an immediate hit (it was the first rap LP to reach No. 1). 'Pee-wee's Big Adventure,' the Tim Burton-directed movie that made Pee-wee a star, was released in 1985. Ad-Rock changed his name from the decidedly less-chill Adam Horovitz; Pee-wee's real name is Paul Reubens, which isn't nearly as funny. Plus, they both love mugging for the camera. So why don't you take a picture? It lasts longer.
