Sunset Strip Music Festival 2013 to Feature AWOLNATION, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Linkin Park + More
Back for its sixth go-round, the Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) returns to West Hollywood on Saturday, Aug. 3. The highly anticipated California street fest features the likes of AWOLNATION and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, alongside previously announced headliners Linkin Park.
“Each year SSMF celebrates the Los Angeles music scene with one-of-a-kind performances on the Sunset Strip. From Fergie performing with Slash in 2010 to Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger taking the stage with Marilyn Manson in 2012, SSMF creates unique moments you won’t find anywhere else,” said festival co-producer and Roxy owner Nic Adler in a recent press release. “This year’s street festival features bands Linkin Park, AWOLNATION, Asher Roth and Street Drum Corps, whose careers began performing in Sunset Strip venues. We look forward to welcoming these artists back as they perform in front of thousands of fans on the music boulevard’s largest stage.”
The day-long event encompasses two outdoor stages and several well-known venues, including the Roxy, the Whisky and the Viper Room. Festival-goers will also enjoy performances by Finch, Wale, Logic, Slick Rick/Doug E. Fresh, Warren G, Bizarre Ride (ft.
