Over the course of their first two albums, Tame Impala dazzled and amazed fans. With anticipation running high for album number three, Currents, the band has shared another new track to tide fans over. "Eventually" takes off from where Tame Impala landed on 2012's Lonerism, the album that solidified the Perth, Australia-based band as a favorite of the indie rock world.

"Eventually" has the trademark Tame Impala merger of past, present and future sounds, mixing up some heavy rhythms with a few Beach Boys-inspired melodies.

They surround it all with the wow and flutter of electronics, basking in a somewhat psychedelic glow without sounding the least bit dated. "Eventually" follows "'Cause I'm a Man," "Let It Happen" and "Disciples" as tasters for the new record, which is set for release July 17 via Modular/Interscope.

Tame Impala have several gigs scheduled throughout the next couple of months across North America, including a two-night stint at Metropolis in Montreal and a stop by the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. You can find their complete tour itinerary here.
