Watch Tobias Jesso Jr. Perform with the Roots on ‘Fallon’

Talented up-and-coming singer/songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. made his network television debut last night (Feb. 26) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Shortly after Fallon professed his love for the song, "How Could You Babe," Jesso took to the piano to perform it with the Roots as his backing band. Watch the performance below.

Jesso is approaching the release of his highly-anticipated debut album, Goon, which is due out on March 17 via True Panther. Fallon said, “This is one of the coolest songs and the coolest voices and the newest sounds. I just love it so much.” We just couldn't agree more. The song carries the type of heartfelt passion that we so cherish and hope for from our generation of singer/songwriters.
