Though still recovering from a terrible auto accident from less than a month ago, Twin Shadow made his way back to the stage, performing on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night (May 6).

On April 17, Twin Shadow’s tour buses were involved in a multiple-vehicle accident on the interstate near Aurora, Colo., leaving frontman George Lewis Jr. -- a.k.a. Twin Shadow -- and drummer Andy Bauer, among others, injured. Lewis, still recovering from reconstructive hand surgery, wore a cast during the Late Night performance, while Bauer remains hospitalized.

Lewis performed a bareboned take on "I'm Ready" from the just-released album, Eclipse; he was backed by only two guitarists, Sam Cohen and Ray Brady. The performance of the song stands in stark contrast to the track found on the album, and made for a very special version:

Later in the program, he was joined by Zoe Kravitz for a cover of Sade's "No Ordinary Love," once again with a minimal and haunting backing:
