Ariel Pink + Blood Orange’s Samantha Urbani Star In Short Film, ‘Vagabond’

Ariel Pink will star in an upcoming short film, ‘Vagabond,’ alongside Blood Orange vocalist and Friends’ Samantha Urbani. In the Johann Rashid-directed film – which will debut at the Sugar Mountain festival in Melbourne, Australia this weekend – Pink portrays an L.A. cab driver who picks up a pair of passengers played by Urbani and Pink’s Haunted Graffiti bandmate Tim Koh. Last month, Pink – whose most recent album, ‘Pom Pom,’ arrived last year – announced that he will make an appearance at this year’s Burgerama 4. The Burger Records-hosted festival takes place March 28-29 in Santa Ana, California.
