A short commercial for the new Hugo Boss fragrance Nuit Pour Femme features actress Gwyneth Paltrow getting ready for a night on the town. What's that sweeping song with synths and strings playing in the background?

Paltrow has become somewhat of an established singer, having performed at the Grammy Awards, on the 'Country Strong' soundtrack and on 'Glee.' But that's not her voice we hear in the ad. The track is 'Lie Down in Darkness' by Moby, and the vocals belong to featured artist Joy Malcolm.

The song adds a layer of dramatic suspense to the commercial, which depicts Paltrow in a black dress checking out her reflection in a mirror and spraying the new Hugo Boss fragrance for women. "This will be your night," declares an unseen woman in a voiceover.

'Lie Down in Darkness' was a single from Moby's 2011 album 'Destroyed.' It was released after the performer couldn't make up his mind about the record's second single and let fans vote on his website to make the decision for him.

Malcolm recorded two songs with Moby and performed with him on tour. According to her MySpace page, she has taken the stage with Chaka Khan and George Benson and provided background vocals for Snow Patrol and Leona Lewis.
