Chvrches Announce They’re Working On Their Sophomore Album
Chvrches are staying true to their word. Last month, the Scottish trio promised they’d be heading into the studio in January to record a follow-up to their 2013 debut, ‘The Bones of What You Believe.’ Today (Jan. 16), they shared a few pictures from their first day back via Twitter:
The Glaswegian synth-poppers have been busy since their debut LP, what with nearly two years on the road, a performance in Grand Central Station and – oh yeah – a feud with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda that culminated in a three-hour remix of ‘My Sharona’ that substitutes the refrain with the Linkin Park rapper’s name. While the clip is pretty darn clever, as you can imagine, we’re more stoked about today’s good news of a new Chvrches album.
