Chvrches are staying true to their word. Last month, the Scottish trio promised they’d be heading into the studio in January to record a follow-up to their 2013 debut, ‘The Bones of What You Believe.’ Today (Jan. 16), they shared a few pictures from their first day back via Twitter:

The Glaswegian synth-poppers have been busy since their debut LP, what with nearly two years on the road, a performance in Grand Central Station and – oh yeah – a feud with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda that culminated in a three-hour remix of ‘My Sharona’ that substitutes the refrain with the Linkin Park rapper’s name. You can watch that below:

While the clip is pretty darn clever, as you can imagine, we’re more stoked about today’s good news of a new Chvrches album.
