Imagine Dragons Land Ear-Pleasing ‘Demons’ in Trailer for RomCom about Sex Addiction
‘Thanks For Sharing’ — an upcoming romantic comedy centering around sex addiction — stars an exciting cast of Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo and Pink. The film is set to hit theaters this September, and its trailer features the ear-pleasing tune ‘Demons’ by Las Vegas alt-rockers Imagine Dragons.
The track is from their ‘Continued Silence’ EP, as well as their debut full-length studio release, ‘Night Visions.’ So far, the song has peaked at No. 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its catchy beat and infectious melody make for quite an enjoyable listen — and according to a review by Consequence of Sound last year, it’s one of two tracks “that give ‘Night Visions’ any sort of crunch and edge.”
You can watch the music video for ‘Demons’ over at Imagine Dragons' official website. "Our friend Tyler Robinson, who had been fighting cancer for a few years, passed away unexpectedly while we were editing the video,” said frontman Dan Reynolds. “He was only 17 years old and his courage was an inspiration to all of us.”
In addition to appearing in the two-and-a-half minute clip (watch below), the song has also surfaced in a number of previous TV spots, including ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting,’ a trailer for the 2012 romance flick, ‘The Words’ and a YouTube promo for the TLC series ‘Breaking Amish.’
