Lena Dunham’s HBO series, Girls, has become just as ubiquitous for pushing the envelope as it has with debuting new, original music. Last night’s (March 8) episode -- the eighth of the fourth season -- was no exception, with a brand-new St. Vincent track, “Teenage Talk,” playing as the credits rolled. Take a listen below:

The new song would feel at home on St. Vincent's most recent, Grammy-winning self-titled effort, and appropriately so, as it was a St. Vincent demo that never left the cutting room floor -- that is until now.

St. Vincent’s Annie Clark now joins the ranks of other artists who have penned new tunes for Dunham’s show, including Jenny Lewis, Fun., Santigold and others.

Tomorrow (March 10), St. Vincent will appear at a Record Store Day press conference at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade. She – along with the B-52’s Kate Pierson, one-time Clash manager Kosmo Vinyl, comedian Todd Barry and Dogfish Head Craft Beer founder Sam Calagione – will be on-hand to announce new releases that will arrive in time for the big day on April 18.
