Imagine Dragons, a band from Las Vegas that made Billboard's list of '2012's Brightest New Stars,' are set to put out their first full-length album, 'Night Visions,' on Sept. 4. In partnership with our sister site PopCrush, we've got an exclusive video that shows the making of 'Night Visions.' The clip, seen below, gives a behind-the-scenes look at Imagine Dragons at this crucial moment in their career.

In the video, singer Dan Reynolds talks about how they grew from begging for work in the lounges of Sin City's casinos to extending their fanbase throughout the West Coast and Southwest. He also discusses his friendship with guitarist Wayne Sermon, a graduate of Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music, with whom he bonded instantly, both musically and personally. To fill out the rest of the band, Sermon called in two of his Berklee classmates, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.

The band's EPs and live performances attracted the attention of Interscope Records, who put them in the studio with producer Alex Da Kid (Rihanna, Eminem). The result was the 'Continued Silence' EP, which featured the hit single 'It's Time.' Da Kid also produced 'Night Visions.'
