‘Chicago Fire’ 2012 Commercial – What’s the Song?

Imagine Dragons' 'Radioactive' is the soundtrack for the new commercial promoting the upcoming NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire.' The show is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 10, 2012.

The series was produced by Dick Wolf -- the creative mastermind behind the popular crime dramas 'Miami Vice' and 'Law and Order' -- and, as its name suggests, it focuses on the lives of those involved in the Chicago Fire Department.

The Imagine Dragons tune included in the commercial is catchy but haunting and is the leading track on 'Continued Silence,' a six-song EP that the band released digitally on Feb. 14 via Interscope Records. The EP received stellar reviews and landed a No. 2 spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Album chart. They plan to put out their first full-length record, ‘Night Visions,’ in the fall (Sept. 4 being its tentative release date).

This is not the only advertisement that Imagine Dragons have been featured in recently. Earlier this summer, 'It’s Time,' another track off of their 'Continued Silence' EP, made an appearance in the trailer for the movie adaptation of the popular young adult novel 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.'
